Magnetic armrest
3 magnets are embedded in the lining.
I've made the armrest from the mahogany back cutoffs. The 3 magnets are aligned to the embedded magnet locations, and offset 4mm closer to the guitar edge so that the armrest is pulled to the sides as well as the sound board. A veneer is then glued to secure the magnets. Note the armrest do not interfere with the soundboard and the sound.

The sides and back are supposed not to significantly affect the acoustics, so I used my existing stock of cypress wood for the sides for my first CG build, and bought mahogany wood for the back. Indeed after case up, the tone was good.
